The Boa Mistura Lyrical Labyrinths

Ephemeral poems on Duraply plywood

Boa Mistura is an urban art collective which develops projects throughout the world.

This time, it presented us with the “Lyrical Labyrinths” project, which consisted of wooden prisms formed of Duraply plywood panels. These prisms form a new, abstract landscape which seeks dialogue with its location thanks to the verses which can be read on the sides. Each line of the verses mixes with the others, generating distinct variations in colour depending on where it is viewed from.

Garnica’s Duraply plywood was perfect for this project. Thanks to its exceptional durability, even in the most adverse weather conditions, it can be exposed to the elements for a long period of time.

The exhibition will visit various cities, mutating in each one: Caceres, Toledo, Cuenca, Segovia, Avila, Santiago de Compostela, Salamanca, Merida, Cordoba and Baeza.
